James Bond

We both had Friday off this week so we thought we'd be a little crazy and go to the 11:59 pm showing of James Bond Quantum of Solace and didn't get home until 2:00 am. It was definitely worth going to so if you haven't gone go.

Halloween Party

Jason's in his amazing Halloween costume. He got to wear to his parents annual Halloween Party. I also dressed up as a professional trainer but his costume was much cooler.

Oregon

Our trip to Oregon was just great. We got away for just a couple of days, but it was well worth it taking a few days off of work. We were able to stop by Tillamook cheese factory too. One of the highlights of the trip was eating at Mo's right on Newport harbor. Shell seemed to enjoy visiting the tide pools and three light houses the most. Newport was a relaxing place to get away. Aside from the windy beaches and the foggy mornings it is a great place to visit. We visited the various beach front stores as well as the Oregon Coast Aquarium. Couldn't ask for a better getaway.

This waterfall and spa was is the basement of a house in Draper. It was complete with a pirate ship and a slide. Of course it had a basketball court and the theater room, chipping/putting green, and a bidet upstairs with urinal in the basement. (just getting ideas for my house)

We went to numerous houses during the parade of homes. My dad has always enjoyed going so I guess I must carry on the tradition. My parents joined Shell and me as we visited over 20 homes. It like going and picking out a couple ideas that hopefully some day I can put in my own house. Here is a photo inside a 4.5 million dollar house in Draper. It wasn't my favorite, but definitely top 3. If had four levels with an elevator theater and 3 kitchens.

We were able to get some r and r in Brazil. We went to the various malls, beaches, and restaurants. Some of the places we are weren't all that good, but we loved Pizza Hut every time we went there. This highlight of our trip must have been going on the dune buggy ride on Christmas day. It started out bad when we got a flat tire, but in the end it was a lot of fun. During the ride we even had to float across a rived on a raft. In all Brazil was very worth it and Shell can't wait to go back.
Lately it has just been life as normal. We haven't done anything too extraordinary since we went to "Brasil" in December. I was a great escape from all the snow that we had this year. Jason had a great time visiting with members that he hasn't seen for a while. Now that we have been back for a while it seems like time to plan our next big trip.
