Apples & Oranges Blankets

Another quick product review...Apples & Oranges reversible blanket.
This quickly became my favorite blanket for little A.  I received one as a gift and had to quickly order a second one.  They are a smaller blanket but they stretch for a great swaddle blanket.  These blankets have gone through the wash countless times so far  &and held up great.  I would definitely recommend them to friends and families. Pictures to come.

Graco Nose Sucker

So with the second kid on the way I've been looking at the baby things I needed. I found an electronic nose sucker which you could clean so much better than the nose suction bulbs.  I started reading the reviews and found it can be used on older kids as well. So when H ended up with an awesome cold I couldn't help but order one.  This has been so nice to help him be able to breather, however I find it quite gross that you see all the snot into the catcher really couldn't they have made it any color but clear?  I also found it quite funny it plays music while you use it.  Not to mention the sucking sound is so much louder than the music it has totally been great to help H breathe.  It was definitely worth the money.

Dec 2012

Christmas Christmas Christmas what more can we say.

We started this year off with the 24 Days of Christmas books.  We opened a new Christmas book every night of the season. We loved the books that had the songs play while you read them.

Making Santa's cookies was another highlight except the fact we made way to many.  I called my mom for the recipe she gave it to me over the phone and then told me it was on her blog.  So I started out by using the one she had given me over the phone and thought 3 cubes of butter sounded like a ton and asked my sister don't you think that's a lot of butter and she said no. So I continued making the dough. Then I need to look at how long to the dough needed to sit in the refrigerator before rolling out and cutting cookies when I realized we had actually tripled the recipe. Needless to say we did not run out of sugar cookies this year!

Christmas lights were harder to find this year it was as if not as many people wanted to display them.  We did go to temple square one night and enjoyed them there not to mention how cold it was.

Santa

I didn't realize how big of a Santa snob I have become.  I took H to see Santa this year and it was so hard to get him to talk to the man in the red suit. Even though I had to search extremely hard for a good looking, very kid friendly Santa. I finally found one! Doesn't he just look awesome!  Santa your the best!

What is sleep?

We have now come up with the nick name little monster. Sure Hudson is cute when he is sleeping and maybe even eating, but give him 5 minutes and he will change your mind. When this kid is awake he lets you know. At least I can be proud that my son is good at something, SCREAMING! Well what can you expect. He is probably just bored.

Thunder cats are go!

After being sent home once from the hospital telling me I was in false labor. I went back five hours later and delivered Hudson at 1:15 on Saturday August 28, 2010.
